Enter the action in the new Monteello map

The free Monteello update introduces an exciting new map for players, inspired by the Second Battle of the Piave River that took place in June 1918. Also known as the "Battle of Solstice," the Austro-Hungarian and Italian armies clashed over control of Monteello Hill and its surrounding areas. As the Austro-Hungarian Empire's last large-scale offensive on the Italian front during WWI, this battle holds a significant place in war history and is now recreated in Isonzo.

On this brand-new battlefield, you will fight across shell-torn farms, burning forests, ruined villages, and narrow trenches, making strategic decisions alongside your squad. To assist you in this mission, Austro-Hungarian soldiers can use two new weapons: the famous Mosin-Nagant rifle (referred to in-game as the M.91 Russian Rifle) and the Schwerhandgranate fragmentation grenade.

In addition to this new expansion, players can also obtain a new premium DLC pack – the "Shell Shock Soldier." Inspired by the harsh and unforgiving nature of war, it showcases wounded and fatigued Italian and Austro-Hungarian troops, soldiers who are rarely seen on propaganda posters. From ragged clothes and improvised gear to stripped-down uniforms and makeshift headwear, soldiers now convey the true cost of WWI.
