"CrossFire" (abbreviation: CF) new version "Battle of the Qin Palace" was officially launched on September 10, along with the much-anticipated new gameplay "Four-Sided Battle," which will be updated and launched on September 24. In addition, this version update will bring CFers exciting content such as the upgrade of the Bio Brawl mode, optimization of the ranked match BAN gun rules, and optimization of the Map Workshop gameplay. Stay tuned, CFers!

After the version update, the new Terracotta Warrior-themed map "Bio Pyramid - Qin" will be optimized and equipped with the characteristic components of the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum on the basis of the Bio Pyramid map. While rendering the national style atmosphere, more attack and defense points and new in-game enhancement item gameplay will be added, allowing CFers to experience the joy of transforming into a Qin army general during the Bio Brawl.

At the same time, the new Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum linkage map will feature newly added block types and structures to match the scene, expanding the blocks that can be built in the original block brawl gameplay, helping players build scenes for battles.

After the version update, both the Ghost and Human camps will each add 2 new powerful random buffs, bringing more randomness to battles. Specifically, the Ghost camp buffs will add Jump Smash and Invasion by the Terminator from Another World. Players can utilize the new buffs to formulate more strategies, helping them break through the human camp's defenses.

On the other hand, the Human camp will add two new buffs: Supply Trooper and Support from the Hunter of Another World. The former will provide sustained bullet supply for human camp players by killing Bio Ghosts, while the latter will randomly transform some mercenaries into heroes in pursuit mode at the beginning of the round.

In addition to the above version updates, the new "Bio Mode Terracotta Warrior Event" will be launched with surprises. Players can gain experience by completing multiplayer Bio Mode tasks, level up to unlock exclusive treasure chest rewards, and have a chance to obtain certain weapon items with bio-enhancement attributes.

On September 24, the new gameplay mode "Four-Sided Battle" will arrive fresh. In "Four-Sided Battle," CFers can choose one of the Four Divine Beasts camps to engage in combat—destroying the towers of other camps and eliminating all players from other camps. The last camp with surviving players will achieve the final victory. It is important to note that once the tower is destroyed, the corresponding camp's players will no longer be able to respawn. Don’t miss out on this new battle experience that requires resource management, tactical choices, and diverse ability growth!

At the same time, this version update will bring general optimizations for the Bio Mode to CFers. The "New Bio Pyramid" map will add brawl gameplay. CFers are encouraged to actively experience it.

CrossFire (8).jpg

Additionally, to enhance the gaming experience and ensure balanced gameplay, in the 16-player Bio Mode, after a Bio Ghost dies, their evolution level will no longer reset, ensuring the continued growth of ghosts within a single match. In the 30-player Terminator Mode, the number of supply boxes required for ghosts to transform into Terminators has been adjusted from 20 to 15.

CrossFire (9).jpg

Regarding character balance, after this version update, adjustments will be made to the skill effects of several small ghosts after their second-level evolution, the duration and cooldown of regular ghost skills, the invisibility transparency of Crazy Baby and Mutant Baby in their first stage, the duration of regular Terminator skills, and the attack range of Ultimate Hunters.

Some game key configuration adjustments will also be optimized after the version update. Once the version is online, all active buff skills will have the unified key ALT, and the evolution and brawl skill key configurations will also be unified. Moreover, the automatic reload for mercenary awakening and the shared F key for switching special weapons will also be optimized to reduce player operation costs.

CrossFire (11).jpg

The Gun King ranking BAN gun rules in the new version will also be optimized and adjusted. The existing BAN pool positions will be optimized, and banned weapons will be replaced with SS-level weapons. Specifically, the new version will expand the BAN gun pool to 20 mainstream weapons, with both sides mutually banning each other's weapons. Each team can ban two weapons per round, and both halves of the match will have one BAN gun opportunity. The weapons banned in the first half will be automatically unbanned in the second half and cannot be banned again.

It should be noted that the adjustment of the BAN gun mechanism to ban weapons only in the first half is an optimization aimed at maintaining weapon diversity—we found that the current BAN gun mechanism leads to some weapons being permanently banned and unable to appear, while certain powerful weapon combinations cannot be adequately limited. With this mechanism adjustment, we hope to retain opportunities for various weapons to appear while also bringing more strategic space to the Gun King ranking mode.

The above BAN gun system rules will be trialed in the September version, during which feedback and suggestions from players will be collected for further adjustments and optimizations, creating a fairer, more strategic, and more exciting competitive stage. CFers, remember to practice with different weapons before the new season starts!

CrossFire (12).jpg

After the "Battle of the Qin Palace" version update, a "Growth Weapon" icon will appear in the upper right corner of CFers' personal inventory, along with a pop-up window prompt for "Growth Weapon." By clicking the entry, players can access the Growth Weapon and Decoration System page. The new version will also feature the new Growth Weapon M4A1 - Linglong, waiting for CFers to unlock its attribute entries!

CrossFire (13).jpg

The Map Workshop function will also be optimized after the version update. Players will not only be able to add AI in single-player testing and quickly skip rounds to improve testing efficiency, but also manually assign player backpacks and characters. Additionally, classic Bio weapons like MG3-Silver Killer, MP5 KA4, and A180 will join the Map Workshop gameplay.

CrossFire (14).jpg

Besides the above version updates, basic supply welfare will be fully distributed after the version update, including the permanent version of protective suits, bulletproof vests, bulletproof helmets, grenade pouches, C4 pliers, and Death's Scythe. CFers who already own the above basic supplies can also receive corresponding Silver War Coins.

Furthermore, convenience function optimizations, character display optimizations on various mode settlement screens, adjustments to the appearance of the character "Dr. Porter," and other updates will also be launched with the version update. The shop and personal inventory scrollbar optimizations, new CFP-purchasable items, and the fix for the Nvidia graphics card setting that causes smoke grenades to malfunction are not to be missed.

The new version "Battle of the Qin Palace" officially launched on September 10, bringing CFers the new Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum-linked design map "Bio Pyramid - Qin" and other surprises. Exclusive version event content will also be launched simultaneously, providing CFers with a massive amount of supply equipment. The new "Four-Sided Battle" gameplay will also surprise-launch on September 24, so stay tuned, CFers!
