Organized by the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA, President: Haruhiro Tsujimoto), "Tokyo Game Show 2024" (TGS2024) has confirmed that the virtual venue "Tokyo Game Show Digital World 2024" (TGSDW2024) will be open from September 20, 2024, to October 6, 2024.

Until last year, the Tokyo Game Show virtual venue was held under the name TOKYO GAME SHOW VR. This year marks the fourth time it will be held, and to contrast with the real venue at Makuhari Messe, it has been renamed "Digital World." Not limited to VR devices, players can participate in this event through PCs, smartphones, and other devices. The virtual venue is set on a floating game kingdom called "Game Island," where the islanders are holding a festival. Along with this announcement, the TGSDW2024 visual, illustrated by Kukka, the artist responsible for TGS2024's main visual, has also been revealed.
